Stuff along the way......
Lynx ~ Colorado
I've been driving for most of the morning/afternoon on a dirt road heading West towards Silverton, Colorado. A local woman had told me that it's a 4-wheel drive road. I only have a 2-wheel drive, so I turned around about half way to Silverton. It had been raining all afternoon, but nothing real heavy. Just continuous, misting type of rain. I found a level patch of ground beneath a very dense canopy, actually finding dry ground! I backed my truck up beneath the canopy and proceeded to have some dinner. I very rarely cook in the mountains, preferring to munch on jerky, cheese, crackers, fruits, nuts, etc. Anyway, after eating I was just kind of relaxing when this guy lept into view. He didn't even see me. So I grabbed my camera and squeezed of a quick shot. Shutter speed was very slow because it was about 5:30pm and of course, no sun because of the cloud cover. As soon as he heard that shutter he looked at me and never took his eyes off me. The first shot was blurred for sure, so I worked my asa and aperture then squeezed of another one. This is the second shot.
The third and final shot tomorrow!

My guess this guy was about 30 lbs. or more. Definitely the size of a medium sized dog.
